“Montréal Victoire Dominates: Five Star Players Head to 2026 Olympic Women’s Hockey Team for Canada”

Hockey Canada revealed on Friday that five standout players from the Montréal Victoire team have secured spots on Canada’s women’s hockey squad for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, happening from Feb. 5 to 19.

Leading the pack is Victoire’s captain, Marie-Philip Poulin, who is gearing up for her fifth Olympic appearance. Poulin will be supported by goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens, forward Laura Stacey, and defencemen Erin Ambrose and Kati Tabin.

Adding to Montréal’s representation, head coach Caroline Ouellette, along with assistant coach at the club, will be part of Canada’s coaching staff for the Olympics. Additionally, Vicky Bendus, the team’s strength and conditioning coach, will fulfill the same role for Team Canada during the Games.

Canada will kick off its Olympic campaign against Finland on Feb. 5 at 3:10 p.m. ET at the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.

Before the Olympic hiatus, the Victoire will honor their Olympians during the team’s last home game. The ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 28 when Montréal clashes with the Toronto Sceptres at 6:30 p.m. ET.
