Toronto authorities have apprehended two individuals in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in the Yonge Street and Gerrard Street vicinity on a recent Wednesday morning.
Law enforcement received a distress call at approximately 10:30 a.m. reporting a stabbing incident at the aforementioned intersection. Upon arrival, officers discovered two persons with injuries.
According to investigators, both individuals were detained on-site.
Emergency responders swiftly transported one of the injured individuals to the hospital, but the severity of their wounds remains undisclosed by the police.
The second individual received immediate medical care at the scene prior to being taken into custody.
Authorities have confirmed that all suspects involved in the incident are now in custody, with no further outstanding individuals.
