A collision involving a bus carrying students left one person dead in Saint-Pie, a municipality of 6,000 residents located between Saint-Hyacinthe and Granby in the Montérégie region.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision late Friday evening, around 11:50 p.m., on Route 235 near the intersection with Rang Elmire.
The victim was the driver who struck the bus after losing control of his vehicle.
