Charles-De Gaulle Bridge to see lane closures over coming weekend

Transport Quebec says the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge will see some lane closures over the coming weekend.

Officials warn the public of closures of Highway 40 (Félix-Leclerc), at the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge linking Montreal and Terrebonne, during the weekend of January 23 to 26.

These obstructions are necessary as part of the repair work that is underway.

Traffic management

Friday, January 23, at 9:30 p.m. to Monday, January 26, at 4 a.m.

Episodes of congestion are to be expected, at certain times during the day. The Ministry recommends that road users who will have to travel in the area allow extra time to get to their destination.

It should be noted that this site may be subject to police surveillance and a speed camera will be installed. This initiative is intended to ensure the safety of road users and workers.

Work may be postponed, extended or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or operational constraints. Thus, before hitting the road, it is recommended to consult Québec 511, a practical tool to properly plan your trips.
