Gunshots fired at Saint-Léonard pub with customers inside

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating gunshots fired at a pub in the Saint-Léonard borough Monday night.

SPVM received several 911 calls at 10:30 p.m. reporting gunshots being fired at The Beaches Pub on Langelier Boulevard near Lavoisier Boulevard.

Upon arrival, police officers observed bullet holes and shell casings at the scene.

“According to initial witnesses’ statements, a suspect appeared in front of the address and immediately opened fire before fleeing,” Manuel Couture, SPVM spokesperson said.

The pub had customers and employees at the time of the incident. No one was injured.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
