A serious crash occurred in Langley between a motorcycle and a semi-truck, resulting in one person being hospitalized with severe injuries. The Langley RCMP responded to the incident on Springbrook Road near Glover Road and 224 Street / 72 Avenue around 3 p.m.
According to BC Emergency Health Services spokesperson Brian Twaites, the injured individual was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the collision.
Reports suggest that the collision happened as the westbound semi-truck attempted a U-turn while the motorcycle was approaching from the opposite direction, leading to the collision with the trailer.
In light of the ongoing investigation, roads in the vicinity have been closed, prompting drivers to seek alternative routes. The Langley RCMP encourages witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident to come forward by contacting them at 604-532-3200.
