A tragic incident occurred in Langley on Tuesday afternoon when a motorcyclist lost their life in a collision with a semi-truck. The Langley RCMP responded to the scene on Springbrook Road, where the collision took place between Glover Road and 224 Street or 72 Avenue around 3 p.m.
According to Brian Twaites, a spokesperson for BC Emergency Health Services, paramedics rushed one individual to the hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries and passed away while receiving medical care.
Following this development, the RCMP has shifted its focus to investigating the incident as a fatal collision. Images captured at the scene depict the motorcycle crushed under the semi-truck’s trailer, with the tractor seemingly in the midst of making a turn.
