Authorities are currently looking into a stabbing incident that occurred on Tuesday night in East Vancouver.
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) has provided limited information, stating that officers responded to a reported stabbing near the intersection of Commercial Drive and East 10th Avenue at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Following the incident, sections of Commercial Drive were temporarily closed while investigators conducted their work, but have since been reopened.
Visuals from the site reveal a section of the sidewalk cordoned off by law enforcement outside a business on the western side of the street. Various items, including clothing and a tarp, were scattered along the sidewalk within the barricaded area.
