Tragic Collision Claims Life of Senior Man in Markham
A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Markham on Thursday morning as a 75-year-old man lost his life in a collision involving two vehicles.
Authorities from the York Region responded to the scene on 9th Line, nestled between Elgin Mills and 19th Avenue, shortly after 11 a.m. after receiving reports of the crash.
The elderly driver was rushed to the hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old driver of the other vehicle sustained severe injuries in the collision.
