Commuters on the STM’s Green line experienced a temporary service interruption on Friday morning during rush hour, but services were gradually returning to normal.
The interruption, caused by a medical emergency, affected the stretch between the Lionel-Groulx and Berri-UQAM stations for approximately an hour. In response, STM recommended passengers to consider utilizing the Orange line or buses as alternative transportation options.
For those traveling downtown between métro stations Lionel-Groulx and Berri-UQAM, the STM suggested using the @stm_Orange line. Additionally, passengers seeking bus alternatives were encouraged to use the trip calculator on the STM website by unticking the métro box.
Stay tuned for further updates on the situation.
