A suspected arson fire in Montreal West overnight Wednesday to Thursday destroyed two vehicles parked in a residential driveway. Emergency services responded to the scene on Crestwood Avenue near Sheraton Drive around 12:30 a.m. when the vehicles were found engulfed in flames, causing extensive damage to both the vehicles and the residence.
According to Montreal police spokesperson Manuel Couture, incendiary elements discovered near the site indicate a potential deliberate setting of the fire. The vehicles have been towed for forensic examination, and while no injuries were reported, no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning as the investigation continues.
