New Westminster Police seek public help after pepper spray attack at local gym entrance
The New Westminster Police Department (NWPD) is reaching out to the community for assistance regarding a recent pepper spray incident that occurred on Wednesday night.
According to authorities, the incident took place near the parkade entrance of a gym close to the Westminster Centre on 6th Street at approximately 7 p.m. It was reported that two men were targeted with pepper spray by a group of around four individuals.
The victims received medical attention from the New Westminster Fire and Rescue Service following the attack. At this time, investigators are still working to determine the relationship, if any, between the suspects and the victims.
