The Réseau express métropolitain (REM) has begun reinstating its services on Thursday morning following a technical glitch that caused disruptions. The interruption affected travel between the Deux-Montagnes and Côte-de-Liesse stations in both directions. However, the REM has assured passengers that trains are gradually returning to normal operation in the impacted area.
As early as 6:55 a.m., the process of restoring services between Deux-Montagnes and Côte-de-Liesse commenced, ensuring smooth travel in both directions.
In correspondence with CityNews, Pulsar, the operator of REM, explained that the disruption stemmed from difficulties in dispatching trains from Deux-Montagnes and a track switch malfunction. Fortunately, the issues have now been successfully resolved.
