A 7-year-old child in Longueuil was involved in a collision with a Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) bus on Friday evening, but thankfully the child is safe, as reported by the Longueuil Police Department (SPAL).
Emergency responders rushed to Desaulniers Boulevard just before 6 p.m. following the incident.
SPAL spokesperson Jacqueline Pierre stated, “The child was swiftly taken to a hospital after the collision with the RTL bus. Fortunately, the injuries were minor.”
The child’s gender has not been disclosed at this time.
After a brief investigation, SPAL spokesperson assured, “No criminal activity is suspected, and the scene has been cleared.”
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
