A food delivery driver is hospitalized following a hit-and-run incident near a well-known ski resort community in Ontario.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday in Craigleith, situated about 160 kilometers north of Toronto near the Blue Mountains.
Reports indicate that the driver, attempting to cross Grey Road 19 to deliver an order, was struck by a vehicle.
The 43-year-old individual, a resident of Collingwood, suffered serious injuries and was promptly airlifted to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
Law enforcement officials state that the driver responsible for the collision fled the scene.
Authorities are urging the driver involved in the hit-and-run to come forward, and are requesting that anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses video recordings contact them.
