“REM Shutdown Alert: Complete Closure on February 15 for Essential Maintenance!”

If you’re a regular on Montreal’s REM light-rail network during weekends, mark your calendars for a different plan of action on Sunday, Feb. 15.

Pulsar, the operator of REM, has announced a complete shutdown of the network on that day for necessary maintenance work. In a concise statement, Pulsar assured commuters that alternative transportation arrangements will be made available through their partnering services, directing passengers to seek further details online.

Additionally, early closures are scheduled on Feb. 6, 7, and 27, with REM services ending at 9 p.m. On these specific dates, the last trains will depart from the Brossard station at 8 p.m. and the Deux-Montagnes station at 8:10 p.m.
