A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a collision with a vehicle in the Etobicoke area of Toronto.
According to Toronto police, the incident occurred at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Acorn Avenue close to Kipling Station at approximately 7:20 p.m. Emergency services responded to reports of the pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.
The injured individual, a male pedestrian, was promptly transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
As a result of the accident, Dundas Street is currently shut down between Acorn Avenue and Aukland Road.
