Centennial Secondary School in School District 43 has been put on a precautionary lockdown for the third time in three days, according to school officials.
The school district stressed that the lockdown is a precautionary measure and assured the public that an update will be provided shortly.
Additionally, Porter, Vanier, and GOAL schools are currently under hold-and-secure protocols as well.
Principal Manjit Rai mentioned that the decision to lockdown the school was made in consultation with the RCMP, following reported threats earlier in the week.
As details remain scarce, we are in contact with the Coquitlam RCMP to gather more information on the situation.
