Yellow Line Service Suspended: STM Investigates Disruption

Commuters faced disruptions on Monday morning as STM’s yellow line service, connecting Longueuil to downtown Montreal, was temporarily suspended due to water infiltrations.

The transit agency announced the service outage via social media, informing passengers about the unexpected interruption. The disruption, which began at 7:38 a.m., affected the Yellow line route between Longueuil-U-de-S and Berri-UQAM stations. STM anticipated service to resume by 9:40 a.m.

Meanwhile, the REM service also encountered delays throughout its network, including an interruption between Deux-Montagnes and Sainte-Dorothée stations on Monday morning.
