The Port Moody Police Department (PMPD) is urgently seeking witnesses to come forward following a hit-and-run incident where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The unsettling collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Monday when the pedestrian was hit while crossing the street at the marked crosswalk located at the intersection of Guildford Way and Ioco Road, as reported by the police.
The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a grey sedan, which was last seen heading southbound on Ioco Road.
The injured pedestrian was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment of serious but fortunately non-life-threatening injuries, as confirmed by the PMPD.
