Montreal authorities are currently looking into a recent vehicle fire that took place in the Saint-Laurent district on a Tuesday evening.
The incident was brought to the attention of the police after a 911 call reported a pickup truck engulfed in flames on Lebeau Boulevard at approximately 10 p.m. that Tuesday.
In a related development, a nearby vehicle parked beside the burning pickup truck also suffered damage.
Upon inspection at the location on Wednesday morning, the aftermath of the blaze was evident with a severely charred truck visible in a parking area.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and no tangible evidence was discovered at the scene.
Given the mysterious nature of the fire’s origin, the case has been handed over to Montreal’s arson squad for further investigation.
