Mississauga Man Nabbed for Fatal Hit-and-Run Horror

A tragic hit-and-run incident in Mississauga has led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man. The incident occurred on January 14 when a woman in her 20s was struck by a black SUV while crossing Bristol Road West. Despite being transported to a trauma center in critical condition, she sadly passed away from her injuries on February 20.

Security camera footage captured the moment of the collision, showing the woman crossing the street and the suspect vehicle speeding towards her. Following the incident, the SUV fled the scene, leaving the victim in a dire state.

After weeks of investigation, authorities located the vehicle involved in the incident in the area of White Clover Way and Apple Blossom Circle. Although the vehicle had been repaired, the driver remained unidentified at the time.

On February 11, police arrested 26-year-old Sundeep Sekhon from Mississauga. Sekhon faces charges including failure to stop after an accident resulting in death and dangerous operation causing death in connection with the hit-and-run.

Investigators urge anyone with information regarding the fatal crash to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
