Canada’s Hockey Captain, Marie-Philip Poulin, Returns from Injury
After a setback due to injury, star player Marie-Philip Poulin is set to make her comeback in Saturday’s crucial Olympic women’s hockey quarterfinal against Germany, confirmed by head coach Troy Ryan. Poulin’s return brings a crucial boost to the team, with Ryan emphasizing the importance of managing her ice time cautiously as she eases back into play.
Poulin had been sidelined with a lower-body injury sustained during a match against Czechia, forcing her to miss subsequent games against Team USA and Finland. Despite the challenges, Poulin expressed her determination and joy at rejoining her team on the ice.
