Toronto authorities are currently looking into a reported shooting incident in the Weston neighborhood that occurred in the early hours of Sunday.
The incident unfolded around 6 a.m. near Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West when reports of an individual possessing a firearm prompted a response from law enforcement.
Upon arrival, officers discovered signs of gunfire within a stairwell of a residential building.
A man in his twenties was apprehended on-site and is now in police custody. Although a firearm was seized, thankfully, there were no injuries reported.
