Authorities in Toronto are currently looking into a shooting incident that occurred in the vicinity of Queen and Portland streets on Monday afternoon.
Law enforcement responded to a call about gunshots near the intersection around 5 p.m. and found evidence of gunfire at the location.
Fortunately, no individuals were harmed during the incident, although a local business sustained damage.
The perpetrator or perpetrators escaped in a dark-colored vehicle, with no additional details provided about their identity.
In response to the ongoing investigation, Queen Street has been shut down in both directions from Portland to Denison Avenue.
