“Next Witness Set to Testify in High-Stakes Sex Assault Trial Involving Business Mogul Frank Stronach”

The sexual assault trial of billionaire businessman Frank Stronach continues with another witness set to testify today in Toronto. The trial, conducted without a jury, commenced last week after facing initial delays.

Frank Stronach, aged 93, maintains his plea of not guilty against a dozen charges brought forth by seven complainants, with incidents dating back to the 1970s.

During the previous week, the first complainant, a woman in her 60s, detailed an alleged assault that occurred in the early 1980s at Stronach’s restaurant. She recounted how he offered her champagne, proceeded to grope her on the dance floor, and later sexually assaulted her as she regained consciousness in an unfamiliar location.

In response, the defence has raised questions about the consistency of the woman’s statements over time, pointing out differences in her accounts to the police, media, and the court.

This case, covered by The Canadian Press, sheds light on the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the accusations against Frank Stronach.
