Vancouver Whitecaps return to BC Place for 2026 season

Your Vancouver Whitecaps are finally back at BC Place!

The team returns to MLS action with their 2026 league opener against Real Salt Lake Saturday.

Kickoff gets underway 4:30 pm, but festivities start at 3 p.m.

While the Vancouver Whitecaps were one of the best teams in MLS last year, both Toronto FC and CF Montreal struggled for results and finished near the bottom of the overall league table.

The Whitecaps once again enter this season as the strongest of the three Canadian clubs, eager to go one step further and win the MLS Cup after losing to Inter Miami in last year’s final.

The bulk of Vancouver’s squad from the 2025 campaign remains in place, including German icon Thomas Müller, who only joined the club last August but still managed to score nine goals and record four assists in 13 games across all competitions. The former Bayern Munich forward will be expected to produce even more now that he has firmly embedded himself in Vancouver and has had the benefit of a full pre-season training camp with the Whitecaps under his belt.
