Montreal police (SPVM) say a man was in critical condition after being found unconscious in early Monday morning in Ville-Marie borough
According to SPVM, a 911 call was received around 12:25 a.m. about the victim Sainte-Catherine Street West, near Clark Street.When police officers arrived on the scene, they found the man already being treated by first responders.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, and is currently in a critical condition.
“According to initial information, the victim lost consciousness outside for reasons are still unknown,” said SPVM spokesperson Johanie Charland. “He appeared to be accompanied by at least one other person who left the scene before police arrived.”
A crime scene has been established. The investigation is ongoing.
