One person is injured, power lines are down, and road in the South Poplar area of Abbotsford is closed after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) says it has shut down Huntingdon Road between McCallum and Gladwin roads as of 6:30 a.m.
Police say the driver of a vehicle left the street and struck an electrical pole.
“The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries,” AbbyPD added in a post to social media.
It says emergency crews are waiting for BC Hydro to arrive and assess the situation.
Police are warning of heavy fog in the area.
