Toronto police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a bus near North York’s Finch GO Bus Terminal during the Tuesday morning rush.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Yonge Street and Bishop Avenue just after 8:15 a.m. for reports that a bus had hit a pedestrian and a hydro pole.
Police said officers arrived along with Toronto paramedics, who are currently assessing injuries at the scene.
There were passengers on board the bus at the time of the collision. Authorities have not yet confirmed the number of people involved or the extent of any injuries.
The crash is causing delays around the busy transit hub, which connects TTC, GO Transit, and regional bus routes. Police are urging commuters to expect disruptions and consider alternate routes while the investigation continues.
Toronto Hydro has been notified, police said.
Crews remain on scene, and traffic restrictions are in place as officers work to gather information.
