Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating the death of an 18-year-old man early Sunday morning in the Ville-Marie borough.
SPVM said they received a 911 call around 1:45 a.m. about a person being injured in an apartment on Saint-André Street, near Ontario Street.
When police officers arrived the found the teenager on the floor unconscious with stab injuries on his upper body.
He was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils.
Police have set up a perimeter to investigate the circumstances leading to the death.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
