A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle early Monday morning in Longueuil, on Montreal’s South Shore.
The incident happened on Taschereau Blvd. near Blvd. Curé-Poirier O
According to Longueuil police, there is no indication that the collision was criminal in nature. Investigators say the driver reportedly did not see the man as he was crossing the busy boulevard.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the crash are still being examined.
