A woman believed to be in her early thirties was found dead Monday morning on a residential street in Drummondville, in Quebec’s Centre-du-Québec region.
Police say the body was discovered along rue des Mésanges. Authorities believe the woman may have been the victim of a crime.
According to preliminary information, the body showed signs of violence, though the Sûreté du Québec has not confirmed those details.
The area was quickly cordoned off as investigators arrived at the scene to begin their work. Police say all possibilities are being examined to determine the circumstances of the woman’s death, including the possibility of homicide.
