The man was riding a mobility scooter in the intersection of 119th Avenue and 228th Street around 3 p.m. Monday when the vehicle hit him.
The victim had been taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police say the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with police.
This is not the only incident of a pedestrian being hit in the city this week. In a second, unrelated crash Tuesday evening, a driver of a vehicle hit a 45-year-old woman on 227th Street near Eric Langton Elementary School. The driver of the vehicle in that crash also remained on scene and cooperated with police.
