The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it is investigating after shots were fired in the city’s Newton neighbourhood.
Officers were called to the area of 77A Avenue near 123rd Avenue around 1:45 a.m. Monday.
Once on scene, police observed damage to both a home and an unoccupied vehicle parked in front of the home.
No one was injured and there are no suspects in custody.
According to the SPS, the incident is connected to extortion.
