Police seek 3 women after victim drugged, robbed and driven across Downtown Toronto

Toronto police are searching for three women accused of drugging a man, stealing thousands of dollars through e‑transfers and ATM withdrawals, and transporting him across the downtown core before fleeing.

Police were called to the Yonge Street and Gerrard Street West area around 6 p.m. on March 29 after receiving a report of a robbery. According to investigators, the events began hours earlier, around 3:30 a.m., when the victim contacted a woman through an online classified advertisement.

The woman met the victim at a hotel in the Yonge and Gerrard area and went up to his room. Police allege she mixed an unknown substance into the victim’s drink, causing him to become unwell. As his condition deteriorated, the woman escorted him out of the hotel and into a black Dodge Durango, where two other women were waiting.

Once inside the vehicle, police say the suspects took the victim’s phone and made multiple e‑transfers to themselves. When the daily transfer limit was reached, the women allegedly drove the victim to an ATM and forced additional withdrawals.

The victim was then taken to another hotel near University Avenue and Adelaide Street West, where the suspects left him and fled.

Detectives have released images and are asking anyone who recognizes the woman—or who may have had a similar encounter—to contact investigators.
