Residents in Montreal are seeing a brief return to wintry conditions today, with light snowfall expected to end this afternoon before skies begin to clear.
Environment conditions show about two centimetres of snow is expected, along with gusty winds and a high near zero. Temperatures will dip overnight, with wind chills making it feel closer to minus-13 C.
The cold snap will be short-lived. Sunshine returns Wednesday with a high of 6, followed by a significant warm-up later in the week. Temperatures are expected to climb to 15 degrees by Thursday, though rain is forecast for Friday.
The weekend looks more seasonal, with a mix of sun and cloud and daytime highs ranging between 9 and 13 degrees.
