The Chilliwack RCMP is investigating an assault that took place on Friday in Portage Park.
Mounties say that the officers were called to the scene shortly after 11:40 p.m.
They located two adults suffering from injuries following an alleged assault.
“A large group of youths were reportedly in the area when the adult victims encountered the group and were subsequently injured,” Cpl. Carmen Kiener said in a written statement.
“Both victims sustained serious non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.”
Police arrested two youths and one adult in connection with the incident. The victims and the suspects do not know each other.
As part of a launched investigation, investigators executed a search warrant at a nearby residence.
