Montrealers are set to see a repeat of last week’s heat wave-like conditions Wednesday as the humidex is forecast to reach the 40s.
Wednesday will be mainly sunny with a high of 33 Celsius and humid with a humidex of 41. The UV level will also be very high with the index reaching 9.
The evening will get increasingly cloudy, but it will be a balmy night with a low of 23 C.
Rain is on the cards Thursday night as the clouds stick around during the day with a high of 25 C and a humidex of 30 and a low of 20 C.
There is also a 40 per cent of chance of showers late in the morning and a risk of thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Friday will be sunny with a high of 28 C during the day and a low of 18 C.
The weekend promises to be sunny with a high of 29 C both on Saturday and Sunday.
