An elderly passenger is recovering in stable condition following a concerning event that unfolded on a Coast Mountain Bus in Vancouver on Tuesday morning.
At approximately 10 a.m., Metro Vancouver Transit Police (MVTP) and the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) responded to a distress call from a bus located near Hastings Street and the Kootenay bus loop.
Upon arrival, MVTP discovered a senior individual with stab wounds in need of immediate medical attention.
The injured senior was promptly transported to the hospital by BC Emergency Health Services for further treatment.
As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement officials have yet to apprehend any suspects nor have they released a suspect description, emphasizing the ongoing nature of the investigation.
