This weekend, Bloor Street in Toronto will be transformed into a car-free zone for the annual Big on Bloor Festival celebrating the vibrant community of Bloordale. The festival, a highlight of Toronto’s arts scene, showcases local small businesses and attracts over 180,000 visitors each year.
In honor of its 20th anniversary, the festival will feature a new addition—a neighborhood side street turned into a captivating public art space inspired by multicultural wedding customs.
From Dufferin Street to Lansdowne Avenue, Bloor Street will be closed off for the event, which will run from noon to midnight on Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to Big on Bloor, Toronto will also host various other exciting events this weekend.
