Three individuals have been apprehended by the Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) following an incident where gunshots were fired in a parking lot in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
According to AbbyPD, officers were alerted to the situation at an open lot situated on Clearbrook Road, close to Peardonville Road, shortly after 6 a.m.
Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement officers discovered that the suspects and a victim had already vacated the premises.
After conducting a thorough investigation, authorities managed to locate the three suspects linked to the shooting at a residence on Westerly Street, in close proximity to Peardonville Road and less than a kilometer away from the initial location.
The victim was also found unharmed in connection to the incident.
The AbbyPD has identified the suspects as Ryan Sawatsky, 33, Lukas Bezanson, 28, and Kyle Kornyk, 34, each facing charges related to discharging a firearm recklessly endangering another individual’s life or safety.
