West Kelowna authorities are seeking the public’s help in an investigation into a reported kidnapping and assault incident that occurred earlier this week.
According to the police, the incident occurred in the evening of Aug. 25, between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., at the Chevron gas station on Industrial Road close to Stevens Road.
Law enforcement officials suspect that several individuals were present in the vicinity during the event and are urging witnesses to come forward if they have information that could aid in the investigation.
In particular, the RCMP is keen on speaking with anyone who may have witnessed a confrontation between two men, observed a man being coerced into a grey BMW, or noted the BMW leaving the location.
Additionally, authorities are requesting any dash-cam or cellphone footage that might have captured the incident or the vehicle in question.
