Quebec authorities have confiscated six vehicles in Dorval as part of a crackdown on a sophisticated vehicle theft ring in the province.
A specialized team led by the Quebec police recently conducted a targeted search on Lépine Avenue, uncovering evidence of a network involved in stealing vehicles within Quebec and shipping them overseas through exporters in the Montreal region.
The operation focused on a commercial facility and a shipping container, resulting in the seizure of a forklift, license plates, documents, and six vehicles linked to criminal activities in Quebec and Ontario.
The investigation is still in progress, with law enforcement officials indicating that arrests may be forthcoming.
