A young cyclist was injured in a collision with a car near Christie Pits Park on Sunday morning and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities responded to the incident at the intersection of Bloor and Christie Streets shortly after 8:15 a.m. The injured man, in his twenties, was reported to have suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Thankfully, the driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities.
