Montreal Man Slapped With Massive Fine For Blazing Down Décarie at 160 km/h

The Quebec Provincial Police have reported that a 30-year-old man from Montreal had his driver’s license suspended for speeding excessively on Saturday. The incident occurred when Montreal highway patrol officers pulled over the man’s vehicle on the Décarie highway, traveling at a speed of 160 km/h in a 70 km/h zone around 1:30 a.m.

In addition to the license suspension, the man received a hefty $1,768 fine and nine demerit points for his reckless driving behavior. Authorities are also investigating the possibility that the driver was impaired during the incident, as he underwent a breathalyzer test and could potentially be facing further charges.
