Following a powerful storm in Vaughan, a section of road has been closed indefinitely due to a sinkhole that emerged during the intense downpour. The sinkhole, located near Rutherford Road and Huntington Road, was a result of the heavy rainfall that hit York Region during the storm.
City officials have shut down Huntington Road between Rutherford Road and Trade Valley Drive as engineers work to assess the extent of the damage caused by the sinkhole.
