Tragic Accident: Dog Killed in Hit-and-Run in Vancouver
In a heartbreaking incident, a beloved dog lost its life in a hit-and-run accident in Vancouver on Wednesday. The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) reported that the unfortunate event took place at the intersection of Powell Street and Princess Avenue around 1:45 p.m.
The innocent dog, who was being walked by three children, was struck by a black SUV whose driver callously fled the scene without stopping. Despite efforts to save the dog, it succumbed to its injuries.
The VPD is actively investigating this distressing incident and urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information regarding the black SUV involved to come forward and assist in bringing the culprit to justice.
