Authorities from York Region responded to a distress call near Queensville Sideroad and Yonge Street around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, alerting them to an ongoing assault.
Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered a critically injured man who was promptly transported to a hospital. Despite efforts to save him, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
