Amber Alert Tragedy: Mother of Four Fatally Shot in Brampton Incident

A tragic incident unfolded in Brampton as Savannah Kulla, a mother of four, fell victim to a fatal shooting carried out by her ex-partner. The heart-wrenching events began when Savannah, 29, was gunned down in a parking lot at Airport Road and Queen Street. The perpetrator, identified as Anthony Deschepper, then fled the scene, taking their one-year-old daughter with him.

Subsequently, Deschepper dropped off the baby with family members in the Niagara area before meeting a swift and final end at the hands of Niagara police. Authorities recovered a firearm at the scene, with the Special Investigations Unit looking into the matter.

In a tragic twist, a female companion of Deschepper’s during the incident was apprehended by the police and now faces legal charges.

Savannah’s grieving mother, Karen, expressed disbelief at the horrific turn of events, highlighting how deeply in love Deschepper had appeared to be with her daughter. However, recent events had seen Savannah ending the relationship, with her mother recounting how she had been adamant about distancing herself from Deschepper.

Peel police noted that the shooting was a result of an intimate partner dispute, underscoring the tragic consequences of such dynamics.

Karen, struggling to cope with the loss of her daughter, described Savannah as a devoted mother who cherished her children above all else. She revealed that Savannah had one daughter with Deschepper and three sons who are under the care of their father.

Reflecting on the ordeal, Karen expressed some relief at Deschepper’s demise, particularly due to concerns for the safety of Savannah’s three sons in light of his increasingly erratic behavior.
